BA, MACP, Registered Psychotherapist

Angela Jones

Hello, and thank you for being here.
I am a registered psychotherapist with a degree in psychology and a masters in counselling psychology. I am registered with the regulatory body of Ontario (CRPO).

My aim in therapy is to provide a safe space for us to work through your life experiences together. Every person has a story to tell, and as there is no one better to tell your story than you, you are a crucial part of this collaborative process. This “person-centered” approach is at the heart of my practice, and my goal is to add in techniques and psychoeducation that are best suited to your needs. I firmly believe in the power of self-compassion and the nervous system, and these are the foundation that I work from.

I use an eclectic (or a kaleidoscope) approach and perspective that includes theory from cognitive behavioural therapy, self-compassion, mindfulness, psychoanalytic, attachment-based, and polyvagal theory.
